I would like to introduce myself as the new CEO of Four Wheel Drive Victoria and also update you on paving the way for a new direction for four wheel driving. I also wish to acknowledge the fantastic work Wayne Hevey has done for the Association for the past 15 years as CEO, including the milestones and achievements as a collective.
Strategic Plan & Direction
Later this year, FWDV will commence consulting with clubs, members, and stakeholders on what objectives they see important in shaping a new three-year strategic roadmap with clear deliverables. These pillars may include digital and
video engagement, technology/platforms/website, partnerships/TV/media, track/area access, growth and attracting younger demographics and more.
FWDV has fantastic team committed to assisting clubs and members, and we have already commenced building new industry and Government partnerships, fresh ways to increase member benefits/discounts, researching the best platforms for club management, new RTO compliance/integration systems and with more projects in the pipeline.
An update on the Central Highlands Assessment, extra time has been requested by the Eminent Panel for Community Engagement. More detail and data relating to the economic contribution to regions and the tourism sector needed to be obtained across various industries.

FWDV is committed to supporting the recreational interests of the members, clubs and the greater four wheel drive community. We will continue to liaise with agency stakeholders, government, and other parties, to maintain the sustainable access/network currently in place for our relevant user groups and individuals.
Club visits
Over the next 12 months, if invited or accepted by clubs, I would like to schedule a visit to clubs/meetings or events, to engage with the members, understand what support you require from 4WDV and our team, ideas to increase member benefits or understand the current challenges/wins you are dealing with. I will also be in contact via phone with club Presidents.
I am excited for the possibilities and direction for the future for 4wding, and ensuring Victoria sets the benchmark for innovation and leadership in this space.
